NetScout History

NetScout Systems was founded in 1984 and is now one of world's premier providers of network and application performance management technology and solutions. Today, NetScout serves thousands of customers around the globe. Headquartered in Westford, Massachusetts, NetScout has approximately 800 employees.

NetScout's first product was a standards-based Ethernet Probe, shipped in 1992. Since then, NetScout has led the market with a continual stream of industry firsts that have evolved into industry standards as well as the market's most comprehensive network performance management solution. In July, 2002, NetScout announced its strategy and vision for its comprehensive nGenius Solution which set the stage for a major change in the way that IT organizations manage the delivery of network services.
